Why shop at a market?
It’s the long weekend coming up and Mother’s day is in a couple of weeks. If you’re stuck for ideas markets are a great place to hangout on a lazy weekend and pick up few gifts along the way- unique, handmade, one-of-a-kind gifts that people are likely to remember and cherish for longer. Markets also have a great vibe where you can chat to the creators and find out the story behind the product and if you find yourself spending the whole day there’s delicious homemade goodies to fill you up.
What’s in the Box.
What’s in the Box market is on this long weekend. Tucked away in the town of Box Hill 30 minutes from Melbourne’s CBD. The market is held every 3 months showcasing an array of independent Australian designers and creators. With over 70 exhibitors you’re sure to find a gift for even the hardest to buy for. Stalls are both indoors and outdoors so weather isn’t an issue. Who know’s you might even get some inspiration to hold your own stall one day.
